Richard Taylor MS,LMHC,LPC,NCC
I am a Nationally Board Certified (NCC), Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Colorado Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and Florida Qualified Supervisor for MHC/MFT Interns. Graduated top of my class from Barry University's (CACREP) accredited MS Counseling in Clinical Mental Health and also received a BA from Florida International University with a concentration in Psychology. My passion is creating a safe space and therapeutic alliance with clients and their families as they work through issues and discover the best authentic version of themselves. Specializing in but not limited to addictions, substance use disorders, co-occurring issues including anxiety, depression, impulsivity, relationship issues, career counseling and family support. With several years of experience working as a primary therapist in various treatment centers, as a clinical director and in private practice I am uniquely qualified to offer people seeking recovery firsthand experience and evidence based clinical knowledge, to formulate with them a treatment and aftercare plan that fits their specific needs and schedule. I work closely with a network of clinical, medical, wellness professionals and facilities if referrals or interventions are needed.
